The Girls Brave XC team performed very well on Saturday, September 30th in London at the Erin Nance Invitational. The Girls Varsity team took 2nd place out of 15 teams. Top runners were: Junior Lex Brookshire placed 4th with a time of 19:59, Senior Melina Endsley placed 7th with a time of 20:18, Freshman Katie Balthaser placed 10th with a time of 20:27 and Senior Katie Slyh placed 11th with a time of 20:28. The Girls Open Race Runners took a very impressive 1st place with a score of 21. Leading the team to victory was Sophomore Seville Davis who placed 1st with a time of 20:47, Sophomore Meghan Boggess placed 2nd with a time of 20:57, Freshman Jessica Morris placed 3rdwith a time of 21:37 and Junior Alice Pozzi placed 7th with a time of 21:54. The following runners ran their personal best: Meghan Krupar, Maria Fratianne, Olivia Young, Rachel Sprecher, Caroline Hise, Emma Aquilina, and Anitha Natarajan. 28 team members earned medals at this invitational. The Lady Braves continue each week to look strong. Next week the girls attack the Darby Dash at Hilliard Darby.
